Rich Johnson

Fellow NBUA Members:

It has been an honor to serve as a member of the NBUA Board of Directors for the past four years and as your President since the 2006 season.   NBUA remains one of the premier amateur umpiring associations in the United States and I am proud to be a part of this great organization.

We have made great strides to improve the administration of the Association over the past several years.   We are strong financially, have a large and desirable customer base, and a talented and dedicated membership.   The Northwest Baseball Umpires Association is a critical component of youth and adult baseball in the Pacific Northwest.

While much has been accomplished, there is still plenty of work to be done and areas for improvement and growth.   As an organization we must continue to recognize and reward our members for their dedication to the game of baseball and their commitment to the Northwest Baseball Umpires Association.   We must ensure that our members receive fair and adequate compensation for their work and that our customers are assigned well trained, high quality umpires to officiate their games.   We must maintain the organizations financial strength and protect the status of our Association and its members.   If reelected, I will work diligently to achieve these objectives.

Thank you for your support and your continued loyalty and commitment to the NBUA.
