John Philbeck
Friends and Fellow Members of the Northwest Baseball Umpires Association
As the Northwest Baseball Umpires Association moves into 2007 there are areas where I believe my talents could be beneficial to the Board and you the members.
Communications
Policy Development
Financial Review
Business Writing
Mentor Program Development
In 1986 I received my Masters of Business Administration from Seattle University. Since graduating my professional career has been as a Controller and Chief Financial Officer for small, privately held, local Northwest businesses. Financial reporting and analysis are what I do for a living.
As your Board member I would bring my foundation of beliefs in personal integrity and respect. Respect for the customers our organization serves. Respect for our contractual relationships with our members and customers. Respect for the Northwest Baseball Umpires Association and everything it has given back to me. Respect for the game of baseball and those ideals, customs and values it encompasses. Above all, respect for the efforts, ideas, concerns and passion of all of our members.
Thank you for your consideration as a candidate for your Board. The floor is open. Please contact me with your questions, suggestions and thoughts. Every member has a voice that deserves to be heard.
Finally, I hope you will support my candidacy to your NBUA Board with your vote.
Sincerely and respectfully,
John "Stonewall" Philbeck
