2010 Banquet, Awards & Promotions

The NBUA returned to Mill Creek Golf & Country Club on Sunday October 3 for its annual banquet and golf tournament.
Nearly 50 golfers participated in the tournament that seems to becoming more popular each year. The threesome of Scott Guhlke, Andre Kaluna, and Curt McQuire repeated as champions of the “Assignors Cup”
The scheduled guest speaker, Tom Lampkin, was unable to attend due to a personal family situation. It was a fun packed day with a capacity crowd in the banquet room. Year-end awards were also presented.

Vern Dahl was presented with the George Eshelman (Umpire of the Year) Award, while Erik Nilson took home the Distinguished Service Award. Mike Padgett was given Rookie of the Year Award. Assignor awards went to Dave Warner (A Tier), Fritz Timm (B) and Mike MacKinnon (C). Nevin Garthwaite and the Kent Bulldogs Baseball Club were awarded the Jack Miller (Customer of the Year) Award.
