By Gavin Anderson
Election Chairman
The 2004 NBUA Annual Meeting and election will be held on Monday, October 25, 7 p.m. at the WIAA Headquarters in Renton. The WIAA Headquarters is located at 435 Main Avenue South in Renton.
The candidates for this year's election include Jason Burke, Joe Whitefield, Rich Connors, Steve Hilgendorf, Rich Johnson, Mike Brancheau, Jay Neff and Dave Natali. Candidate statements can be found here.
You can cast your ballot for up to five individuals this year. Remember that there are four ways to vote for the five slots open on the board. The four ways include:
• Voting in-person at the Annual Meeting from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. on Monday, October 25th at the WIAA.
• Voting electronically via our website at www.nbua.com. Members can log in to the "virtual voting booth" with their primary e-mail (as shown in your profile in the gameassign portion of this web site) and the last four digits of their SSN (use the same four digits as your peer evaluation login, as a few of you have duplicate "last four SSN digits" and have been given an alternate login). Voting with this method can be done from 7 a.m. on Friday, October 22 until the polls close at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, October 25.
• Voting by absentee via e-mail. Send a message to Gavin Anderson at refgav@yahoo.com and include in your message who you would like to vote for. You can also attach a scanned ballot to your e-mail message. You will receive an e-mail to confirm that your ballot will be cast. This form of voting is available NOW until 7:15 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2004.
• Voting by absentee via postal mail. Send your ballot to Gavin Anderson, 18731 137th CT SE, Renton, WA 98058. Only ballots received on or before October 25, 2004 will be counted. Ballots in PDF format can be downloaded here.
If you should have any questions regarding this year's elections, how to vote, or election regulations, please direct them to Gavin Anderson at 206.949.6012 or refgav@yahoo.com.
