Brancheau, Carlstedt, Coy and Philbeck
return for 2-year terms

Election Committee Chairmen
The Northwest Baseball Umpires Association held its Annual Meeting on October 12 at the WIAA Renton headquarters where the results of the Board elections were announced. All six of the 2009 Board candidates were in attendance along with three interested members.
Elected to 2-year terms were Mike Brancheau, Kris Carlstedt, Gary Coy and John Philbeck. Charlie Atterbury and Reams Goodloe finished just behind these four in the tally.
Following the adjournment of the Annual Meeting the Election Committee convened, certified and announced the results of the elections. There were 88 votes cast electronically and two ballot cast in person.
The 2009-10 NBUA Executive Committee includes Mike Brancheau, president; Hank Margerson, vice president; Kris Carlstedt, treasurer and Gary Coy, secretary. Committee Chairman for the next year are: Kris Carlstedt, finance; Gary Coy, training; John Philbeck, evaluations; Vern Dahl, bylaws / policies & procedures; Hank Margerson, recruiting and retention; and Jay Neff, member services / communication.
Brian Gooch and Rich Johnson are at-large directors.
The Elections Committee would like to thank and congratulate all six of the candidates for their involvement in the association. The committee also thanks every member that voted in the election. Your interest and participation is vital to support of the continuing success of the Northwest Baseball Umpires Association.
