By Scott Johnson The 2004 NBUA Board of Directors election will take place October 25 at the WIAA in Renton. Eight Association members are vying for five open spots on the board in efforts to mold the direction NBUA takes for the next two years and beyond. Four of five incumbents are running as well as four challengers. Jack Miller has chosen not to seek reelection. For the first time ever, NBUA members in good standing will be able to cast their ballots online. You will need to enter your last four digits of your social security number to access the site. Once at the online ballot, you can select up to but no more than five (5) of the eight candidates below. You can also select a write-in candidate. By clicking on "submit" your votes will be cast. You will not be able to access the site once you've voted. The online ballot can be available one week prior to the election. You will be notified once the ballot goes online. You can also download a paper ballot that you can fill out by hand and either bring with you to the Annual Meeting or mail it to the address below. You will not be able to cast a ballot in person if you have used the online voting system. Ballots can be downloaded in pdf format here.
