2009 Board of Directors Election
Call for candidates

As we are nearing the end of our 2009 umpiring season, NBUA Board of Director election time is near.  NBUA Directors are elected for a two year term with five directors elected on the even year and four directors elected on the odd year.  This year, the current Board Members whose term will expire include Mike Brancheau, Kris Carlstedt, Gary Coy and John Philbeck.  

The 2009 NBUA elections will be held on Monday October 12, 2009 at our Annual Meeting (location to be determined).  The ability to vote for candidates online will be provided to all members in good standing however we encourage everyone to attend this meeting. 

If you are interested in becoming a Candidate for one of the four open positions, please forward an email indicating your interest as soon as possible to Vern Dahl (v.dahl@verizon.net).  Your Candidate Statement (600 words or less) and a photo must be sent to Vern Dahl (v.dahl@verizon.net) no later than 9 p.m. Saturday September 19, 2009.  If you would like more information, please feel free to contact Vern Dahl or Brian Gooch. 

The 2009 NBUA Voters Guide will be published on the NBUA website and should be available the week of September 21. Candidate statements will be published in the Voter Guide in the order received.
