| Friday, September 9, 2005 Former NBUA umpire Kenn Myers passed away on Monday, Sept. 5 after battling congestive heart failure and kidney deterioration. Kenn umpired for NBUA for over 30 years before retiring several years back. In addition to umpiring, Kenn taught at Highline High School, coaching both baseball and football. Kenn was familiar to many ushering at almost all University of Washington sporting events and at Qwest Field. His last game was the Seahawks final preseason game last friday. Kenn is survived by his wife of fifty-three years Doris, their three sons Scott, Brent, and Kent, along with their wives and nine grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, September 12, 2005 at the Berean Bible Church, 2345 N 185th Street, Shoreline. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in his name to the Berean Bible Church / Youth Mission Fund, 2345 N 185th Street, Shoreline, WA 98155.
