NBUA Board Approves Strategic Planning Process

The NBUA Board of Directors adopted a strategic planning framework and timeline at their July 19, 2005 meeting. The Board has identified five strategic areas:

•  Recruitment and Retention

•  Financial Management

•  Umpire Development

•  Organizational Development and Leadership

•  Member Services

Over the next three months the Board will actively develop strategic objectives within each of the strategic areas. The goal is to have strategic objectives and criteria developed and ready for distribution to the membership in conjunction with our annual meeting in October. We plan to solicit significant member participation in the committees and task teams established to develop and implement the associated action plan. The strategic planning framework and timeline are posted for your review. They will require your association-wide user name password (not your gameassign user name and password).
