NBUA President Steve Hilgendorf resigned from the board prior to Tuesday's board meeting. Vice President David Natali was named new president. The board voted to appoint Vern Dahl to fill the vacant seat on the board. Rich Johnson is the new board vice president.
In a prepared statement, Hilgendorf cited personal issues that need his attention for his resignation and that he wouldn't be able to devote the necessary time and energy to be a productive board member. "It has been a pleasure working with each and every one of you," Hilgendorf said. "There were a lot of accomplished goals and many more on the horizon that I know you, as a board, will conquer as well."
Dahl, runner up candidate to fill the seat vacated by Ken Sack that went to Mike Brancheau, will complete the remaining 15 months of Hilgendorf's term. In accepting this position, Dahl thanked the board for its vote of confidence and hope to get up to speed on issues facing the NBUA as soon as possible.
