NBUA Mentor Program for 2009

Brian Gooch and myself have been working to improve the NBUA Mentor Program for 2009. Our goals were to:
1) Improve communications between Mentors and Mentees through e-mail, telephone and in person.
a) E-Mails were sent out to every Mentor and Mentee introducing them to each other by name and e-mail address as well as defining the various goals of the Mentor / Mentee Program.
2) Pair up Mentor with their Mentee based upon address to encourage:
a) Better interaction between the Mentor and Mentee.
b) Easier scheduling of games as partners.
3) Promote Mentors and Mentees being scheduled to partner with each other for several games during the season, not just once (if that) as has been done in years past.
4) Seek feedback from both Mentors and Mentees at the end of March with respect to how the Mentor Program is working for them thus far this season.
5) Seek suggestions from both Mentors and Mentees as to how we may improve the Mentor Program.
