NBUA announces tier promotions

Generally, promotions are announced at the end of each season. Occasionally, there promotions that are made during the season. This season is one of those occasions.

The evaluation committee, with the unanimous approval of the entire board of directors announce the promotion of nine umpires:

Those receiving promotions to the "A" tier are:
Leo McKinley
Rick O'Neill
John Philbeck

Receiving promotions to the "B" tier are:
Alan Alquist
Charlie Atterbury
David Johnson
Steve Keating
Bill Ranko
Tony Reed
