Eshelman Scholarship Awarded

Congratulations go out to Paul Baeder and Stewart Lowe, 2009 recipients of the George Eshelman Scholarship Award. The George Eshelman Award is a monetary distribution of $150 each to two persons. If you gave the extra effort for advanced training to help in the furthering of your umpiring career within the NBUA, you are eligible. Advanced training is typically defined by as little as a three day camp, a week camp, or the five week extended camps. For those of you who have had the privilege of attending training this year in preparation for 2010 or will soon be attending just such a training, please keep this scholarship opportunity in mind for next year.
