NBUA updates cap for black uniform

In last year's first full year of using the black uniform as an alternative, two different black caps emerged, neither of which were perfect. One cap used the standard red and white logo from the blue cap (this wasn't the best alternative as there is no red in the uniform). The other used the old white lettering the NBUA used to use (this was meant for D1 only, yet others started to use it as well). The Board of Directors felt the NBUA shouldn't have two different logo treatments on their hats.

Therefore the Board has approved a new design for the black cap – the lettering from the blue cap, with black replacing the red in the logo.

Official Stitches will be taking preorders for this new cap. As with the blue cap, the cost is $18 including tax. Email Rick Campbell with your order or call him at (425) 481-5251. Include what style of cap – 8- or 6-stitch – plus your hat size. Your order will be delivered at the Feb. 28 Business Meeting. Official Stitches will have a quantity of the regular blue caps on hand at the meeting for you to try on. There will be no pre-stitched black hats at this meeting, so place your pre-order now.
