BELLEVUE--The first full Saturday session of NBUA Training is complete and in the books for the B, C and 1st year umpires...even if they did get a little wet. Not surprisingly, rain made an appearance for part of the day.

Twenty-five 1st year umpires and fourteen C-Tier umpires participated in yesterday's full-day event that included classroom instruction, with afternoon field and cage training.

Twenty-three B-Tier umpires attended the half-day that included both field instruction and cage work.

Instructors in attendance included Erik Nilson, Chris Thomas, Richard Leetz, Gary Coy, Scott Johnson and Dave Natali.

Remember that the next training is going to be held Wednesday, February 4 from 7-9 p.m. for the A's, B's, C's and 1st year umpires. The agenda for Wednesday will be posted at www.nbua.com on Monday morning. Also, if you haven't paid your dues, please contact Gavin Anderson immediately.
