Valley Umpire Association founder passes

SEATTLE—Earl Watts, the man who formed the Valley Umpires Association, died Jan. 6 after a long bout with esophageal cancer. The news comes from NBUA umpire, Tom Brigham who worked with Watts for some time.

Services will be at Evergreen-Washelli (11111 Aurora Avenue N, Seattle) on January 19 at 2 pm.
